Tea tree essential oil (Melaleuca alternifolia Leaf Oil, CAS NO.68647-73-4) is so far the most active natural antibacterial agent aginst bacterail and fungus.
Tea tree oil (Melaleuca alternifolia Leaf Oil, CAS NO.68647-73-4) has a broad spectrum of antibacterial activity, and the minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimum bactericidal concentration (MBC) of tea tree essential oil have been determined to be 0.03%-2.0% in vitro studies.
Terpinen-4-ol has function of anti-bacterial and antioxidant.
α-Terpineol has anti-bacterial effect.
1,8-Cineole has Antibacterial and anti-inflammation fuction.
4-Isopropyltoluene has effect on Expectorant and Relieving cough and asthma.
APPLICATION
It is widely used in food additive and feed additive.
